Hola, soy Señor Briceño.
Educator, storyteller, and founder of Señor Briceño LLC. I help people fall in love with Spanish by living it through culture, conversation, and real-world missions.
From Maracaibo to Atlanta
I was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and I’ve spent more than 20 years teaching languages in classrooms across the United States and Latin America, including AP® and IB Spanish. Today I’m based in Atlanta, where I build learning experiences for students everywhere.
I speak Spanish, English, and French, and I’m currently learning Italian and Portuguese. So I know exactly what it feels like to be the learner, too.
What I believe about learning
- Culture is the curriculum. Language lives in stories, food, music, and people, not just in grammar charts.
- Evidence over hype. Retrieval practice, purposeful repetition, feedback, and meaningful communication are what actually build fluency.
- Everyone belongs here. Learning should be accessible, inclusive, and identity-affirming.
- AI should amplify, not replace. Technology supports human teaching and your own thinking. It never stands in for them.
